About the WFNMC
International Networking & Innovation Meeting
At the initiative
of Academician Kiril Bankov, Immediate Past President of the World Federation
of National Mathematics Competitions (WFNMC), and Prof. Borislav Lazarov, WFNMC
Regional Representative for Europe, a parallel international event, the WFNMC International
Networking & Innovation Meeting, will be organized within the Forum.
The Meeting will
be held in a working format with representatives of WFNMC from different
countries. It is intended for discussions on current organizational matters,
the future development of the Federation, the exchange of ideas, and the
planning of future collaborative initiatives. The programme consists of working
meetings and discussions rather than scientific presentations or conference
papers.
Organizers
The Forum is
organized by the Education and Technologies Association, with the support of Burgas
Municipality. The event partners are Burgas
State University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” and Burgas Free University. The Forum is also
supported by partners from the business sector.
Venue
The main programme
of both the Forum and the WFNMC International Networking & Innovation
Meeting will take place at the Sea
Casino Cultural Centre, located in the Sea Garden of Burgas. In addition,
several networking activities will be organized outside the venue, including a
working meeting on St. Anastasia Island and the traditional Networking Tour
(travelling seminar) outside Burgas, providing opportunities for informal
professional exchange, partnership building and experiencing the cultural and
natural heritage of the region.
